Higdon's recent position was as the Global Head of Esports Communications at Riot Games in Los Angeles, where he played a vital role in elevating major esports like League of Legends and VALORANT. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Integrated Marketing Communications for NASCAR. In that role, he introduced integrated marketing strategies while also acting as the communications lead for NASCAR’s facilities entity, International Speedway Corporation, and their sports-car league, the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA). 🏎️

Before his impactful career in NASCAR, Higdon was the Chief Communications Officer for the LPGA Tour, where he managed global communications and creative services for women’s golf. His journey in communications began at the ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) as Senior Vice President. There, he built and led a global team tackling governance issues, event creation, anti-doping policies, and crisis communications for the men's tennis tour. Notably, he collaborated with Roger Federer to implement a brand strategy that expanded Federer’s influence beyond tennis through philanthropy and fashion. 🎾✨

Higdon's roots trace back to Chicago, and he grew up in Michigan City, Indiana. He earned a political science degree from Kalamazoo College.
