Welcome to the 2025 NFL Draft! 🎉
The anticipation is palpable as the 2025 NFL Draft approaches. After a thrilling offseason dedicated to assessing top prospects, it’s time to dive into the final rankings for awaited talent. These players are ranked across six distinct tiers based on their projected career trajectory.
Tiers Explained 🔍
Here’s a breakdown of the tiers:
Top-10: A player expected to shine right from Day 1, becoming a consistent All-Pro, recognized as one of the finest at their position, and likely to redefine market values during their second contract. Example: Myles Garrett.
First Round: A blue-chip talent who stands as a cornerstone of a franchise. This player frequently finds their way onto Pro Bowl rosters, although they may not equate to top-tier contract negotiations upon extension. Example: Josh Hines-Allen.
Second Round: A solid starter who earns a respectable second contract, potentially selected for a few Pro Bowls. Not necessarily a franchise cornerstone, but adds significant depth to the team. Example: George Karlaftis.
Third Round: An average starter who delivers decent performance but may not land a lucrative second deal. Example: Dorance Armstrong.
Fourth Round: A player who serves as a fringe starter or rotational option, often with a more limited role than higher-caliber teammates. Example: Mike Danna.
- Day 3: Players likely to fight for a spot on the roster or find themselves on the practice squad.
Players highlighted in bold are my top 2025 prospects! 💪
Quarterbacks 🏈
Here are the projected quarterback prospects:
- Round 1: Cam Ward
- Round 3: Shedeur Sanders
- Round 4: Tyler Shough, Jaxson Dart, Jalen Milroe
- Day 3: Dillon Gabriel, Kyle McCord, Riley Leonard, Quinn Ewers
Running Backs 🏃♂️
This year’s running back class is full of talent!
- Top 10: Ashton Jeanty
- Round 1: Omarion Hampton
- Round 2: Kaleb Johnson, Treyveon Henderson, Damien Martinez
- Round 3: Cam Skattebo, Jordan James, Dylan Sampson, Quinshon Judkins, Devin Neal, D.J. Giddens
- Round 4: R.J. Harvey, Raheim Sanders, Bhayshul Tuten, Trevor Etienne
- Day 3: LeQuint Allen, Jaydon Blue, Brashard Smith, Kyle Monangai, Ollie Gordon II, Phil Mafah
This running back class has remarkable depth. While I only rank two players in Round 1, there's a wealth of potential in the Day 2 group, featuring 11 candidates who are poised to start and some with even higher ceilings.
Post-Round 4, I remain optimistic about this cohort. Even if players like Harvey and Tuten might primarily serve as secondary running backs, their skill sets are likely to integrate well into NFL offenses. Players like Blue bring a burst of speed, while Allen is set for a productive career in third-down situations.
Diversity is abundant, with power runners like Martinez, Skattebo, and Judkins on one end, and dynamic playmakers like Tuten and Harvey on the other. Teams searching for running backs that fit their schemes will find a plethora of options! 🌈
Wide Receivers 🎈
Let’s check out the wide receiver prospects:
- Top 10: Tetairoa McMillan
- Round 1: Travis Hunter, Matthew Golden, Emeka Egbuka
- Round 2: Luther Burden III, Jaylin Noel, Tory Horton, Elic Ayomanor
- Round 3: Jayden Higgins, Jack Bech, Tre Harris, Kyle Williams
- Round 4: Tai Felton, Jalen Royals, Pat Bryant, Tez Johnson, Jaylin Lane
- Day 3: Xavier Restrepo, Chimere Dike, Da’Quan Felton, Isaac TeSlaa, Savion Williams
Tight Ends 🎭
The tight end rankings are as follows:
- Round 1: Tyler Warren, Colston Loveland
- Round 2: Elijah Arroyo
- Round 3: Oronde Gadsden II, Mason Taylor, Terrance Ferguson, Mitchell Evans, Gunnar Helm
- Round 4: Harold Fannin Jr., Jake Briningstool
- Day 3: Luke Lachey
While I have expressed some reservations about the rotating tight ends available on Day 2, I believe Arroyo can carve out a role as a starting tight end.
However, concerns linger with each Round 3 tight end. Taylor and Ferguson need to improve in run-blocking, while Helm's Combine performance raised doubts about his fit as a Y tight end. Evans excels at blocking but struggles with separation. Even for Gadsden II, my excitement is tempered by uncertainty around his blocking skills and agility.
That said, a few of these players hold significant upside and may exceed expectations! ⭐️
Tackles 🛡️
Here’s how the tackle prospects stack up:
- Top 10: Armand Membou, Will Campbell
- Round 1: Josh Simmons, Josh Conerly Jr.
- Round 2: Aireontae Ersery, Kelvin Banks Jr.
- Round 3: Emery Jones Jr., Jalen Travis, Anthony Belton
- Round 4: Ozzy Trapilo, Cameron Williams
- Day 3: Charles Grant, Jack Nelson
Interior Offensive Linemen 💪
- Round 1: Marcus Mbow, Donovan Jackson
- Round 2: Tyler Booker, Grey Zabel
- Round 3: Dylan Fairchild, Jonah Savaiianea, Jared Wilson
- Round 4: Myles Frazier, Wyatt Milum
- Day 3: Tate Ratledge
The talent at offensive line diminishes rapidly. While I appreciate the potential in some of the top 40 players, the distinction between Round 2 and Round 3 talent is significant, with fewer prospects likely to be genuine starters.
Defensive Ends ⚔️
- Top 10: Abdul Carter
- Round 1: Shemar Stewart, Mykel Williams
- Round 2: Mike Green, Princely Umanmielen, Donovan Ezeiruaku
- Round 3: Jordan Burch, Bradyn Swinson, Nic Scourton, James Pearce Jr., Landon Jackson, JT Tuimoloau
- Round 4: Jared Ivey, Kyle Kennard, Jack Sawyer, Ashton Gillotte, Oluwafemi Oladejo, Josaiah Stewart
Defensive Tackles 🧱
- Round 1: Mason Graham, Derrick Harmon, Walter Nolen, Kenneth Grant
- Round 2: Tyleik Williams, T.J. Sanders, Shemar Turner

- Day 3: Rylie Mills, Jordan Phillips
Linebackers 🦸♂️
- Round 1: Jihaad Campbell
- Round 2: Carson Schwesinger, Jalon Walker
- Round 3: Kobe King, Danny Stutsman, Chris Paul Jr.
- Round 4: Demetrius Knight Jr., Jeffrey Bassa, Smael Mondon Jr.
Cornerbacks 🛡️
- Top 10: Travis Hunter
- Round 1: Will Johnson, Jahdae Barron
- Round 2: Trey Amos, Benjamin Morrison, Shavon Revel Jr.
- Round 3: Azareye’h Thomas, Cobee Bryant, Maxwell Hairston, Darien Porter, Robert Longerbeam, Jacob Parrish
- Round 4: Jabbar Muhammad
Safeties 🔒
- Round 2: Malaki Starks, Xavier Watts
- Round 3: Andrew Mukuba, Lathan Ramson, Nick Emmanwori, Jaylen Reed, Kevin Winston Jr., Billy Bowman Jr.
- Round 4: Jonas Sanker, Hunter Wohler, Malachi Moore
- Day 3: Sebastian Castro
The third round features a multitude of defensive backs, showcasing considerable potential. While many have starting upside, true game-changers appear scarce, leading to minimal separation among prospects. Following the initial 50 selections, we might witness a surge in demand for these players. 🌟
The excitement is here as we gear up for the 2025 NFL Draft! 🏆
