🏈 KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs have revealed their initial practice squad, and it includes several renowned players, along with a familiar face from the team's past.
Key Signings
The Chiefs have welcomed tight end Robert Tonyan to their practice squad with plans to elevate him to the active roster once Rashee Rice's six-game suspension begins. This strategic move showcases the team's intent to bolster their offensive options in anticipation of Rice's absence.
In addition, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire is joining the squad. Recently released by the New Orleans Saints, Edwards-Helaire previously spent his first five NFL seasons with Kansas City after being selected in the first round of the 2020 draft.
