How Reliable is In-Game Grading? 🔎

The initial play-by-play grading method has shown approximately 93% accuracy compared to the final grades. However, despite broadcast footage and replays, not everything is captured. That’s where our comprehensive grade reviews shine, using All-22 film that provides a full-field view, letting us thoroughly assess key details—such as player alignments, responsibilities, and off-ball actions.

⚠️ Because a single game serves as a relatively small sample size, even minor corrections can dramatically shift a player's score on the 0-100 grading scale, particularly for those who don’t participate in every snap.

🛠️ Our quality control team also ferrets out any human errors from the preliminary data collection. Typical corrections involve missed blocks, changes in coverage responsibilities, or passes into tighter windows than what was visible during the broadcast.

This meticulous process allows the final grades you see the following day to accurately portray a player’s performance.
