We guarantee we will begin listing your item(s) within 7 business days of receiving your submission!

What condition should my items be in?

- Items should be clean, in good condition, and free of any major damage. Items with minor wear will still be accepted, and the wear and damage will be represented in the auction listing.
 

How should I prepare my items for consignment?

- Package your item(s) securely, especially fragile or valuable items, and include any necessary accessories.
 

Is there a limit to how many items I can consign at one time?

- There is no limit on how many items you can send at one time. If you send more than 20 items, then the time to have all items posted may extend beyond the 7 day commitment. In this case we will coordinate with you on if all items should be listed together or if they can be split into multiple listing groups.
 

How do you determine the price of consigned items?

- All auctions are listed with a starting price of 99 cents. The final sale price will depend on the supply and demand of the market and what the final winning bid is on eBay.
 

What happens if my items don’t sell?

- Unsold items can be returned to you if desired. Please contact us to arrange the return of any unsold items. If you want items returned to you, then you will be required to pay for the return shipping expense along with a $3 fee to cover the work and expense of the original listing.
 

Do you charge any up-front fees for consigning items?

- There are no upfront fees for consigning items. Our commission is deducted from the final sale price. If your item does not sell and you want the item returned to you, then there will be a $3 fee assessed for the original listing work and expense.
 

What is your commission rate?

- Our commission structure varies based on the sale amount and type of item(s) being sold. For the current rates, please refer to our Payout Rates page.
 

When and how do I get paid?

- Payments are processed monthly.
 

Can I consign seasonal items?

- Yes, we accept seasonal items. Please make sure they are relevant to the current or upcoming season.
 

Do you accept items with minor damages?

- Items with minor damages may be accepted, and their condition will affect their pricing and likelihood of sale.
 

How do I know if my items have sold?

- You will be notified via email when your items sell. You can also track sales through the online system and links to the auctions that we will provide.
 

What happens to my items after they are consigned?

- Your items are listed on eBay, marketed to potential buyers, and stored securely until sold.
 

How should I package my items for consignment?

- Package items securely to prevent damage during transit. Use bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and sturdy boxes as needed.
 

Can I consign items on behalf of someone else?

- Yes, you can consign items on behalf of someone else, but the consignor must be aware and agree to our terms.
 

What types of payment methods do you accept for payouts?

- We offer payment via check or direct deposit. Please provide your preferred payment method when consigning items.
 

Do you accept furniture for consignment?

- We do not typically accept furniture due to size constraints, but exceptions may be made for valuable, compact items.
 

Can I consign large items like appliances or vehicles?

- Large items are generally not accepted unless agreed upon in advance and are valuable enough to warrant special handling.
 

How do you promote consigned items for sale?

- We promote items through eBay listings, social media, and our website to reach a broad audience of potential buyers.
 

What happens if my items get damaged or lost while on consignment?

- We take great care in handling consigned items, but in the rare event of damage or loss, we will work with you to resolve the issue.
 

Can I consign items that I have posted for sale elsewhere?

- Items listed elsewhere should be removed before consigning with us to avoid conflicts and ensure exclusivity.
 

Do you offer any guarantees on the sale of consigned items?

- While we strive to sell all consigned items, we cannot guarantee a sale. Items are listed and marketed to maximize their chances of selling.
 

Can I consign new items or only used items?

- Both new and used items are accepted.
 

What are your payment and auction policies?

- Each individual item we list will be in an auction format with an opening bid price of $0.99. All auctions will be set for a minimum of 7 days and will span up to 10 days. We end all items between 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. PST, avoiding Friday endings. Payments to consignors are made via PayPal or check on the 1st and 15th of every month, with up to 7 additional days for checks.
 

Are items authenticated before being consigned?

- Memorabilia pieces must be certified authentic by a reputable authenticator (JSA, PSA/DNA, UDA, Beckett, Leaf, and Topps). We offer the opportunity to have items authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA) or Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA) for a small fee. Items that do not pass authentication will be returned to the customer for a fee.
 

What is the process for shipping items to KC Chiefs Merch?

- Ship all items in protective cases and/or sleeves. Place cards in top loaders and use “team bags” to prevent them from moving during shipping. Use “Priority flat rate boxes” from USPS for larger lots to minimize costs. Always send packages with a tracking number and required signature upon delivery.
 

What is your consignment form process?

- You may complete our consignment form online, then print and include it with your shipped package. Pack items per our instructions, and ship items along with the form. Once received, we will notify you via email. Allow 7 days for processing and auction listing after receipt.
 

What happens with unpaid items or returns?

- Non-paying bidders will be reported per eBay policies, and items will be relisted within 14 days. Depending on interest, a second chance offer may be issued to the next highest bidder.
 

How does the eBay Authenticity Guaranteed program affect consignment?

- We withhold payout on any item until it has completed the authentication process. Items that do not pass authenticity checks will be returned to the consignor.
 

What are your guidelines for rejected submissions?

- We reserve the right to reject any submission, including items in less-than-sellable condition or those with low sales value. All auctions start at $0.99 and run for 7-10 days. Items that do not sell after two listings become the property of KC Chiefs Merch’s Collectibles and will not be relisted. Unsold items can be returned to the consignor for a fee if desired.
 

What are your shipping recommendations?

- We recommend using expedited shipping services for security and efficiency. Always ship with a tracking number and required signature upon delivery. Contact us for specific shipping recommendations.
 

What are the exact consignment steps?
